I have gotten some mixed results so far in testing this paper and I haven’t quite figured out if it’s the paper’s fault or not.My issue is the bottom of every print starts to get visible lines like the paper is not absorbing the ink correctly. However, this seems to be at the end of the print job and looks similar to miss lined printer heads. But I ran tests and cleaning on my HP printer and still got the same results. When I printed on a 8×11 photo paper from another brand, it printed fine. I put this 8×8 back in and it had problems again.Besides the issue with the banding at the bottom, I did not love the color rendition but I think it’s close enough for basic print work. As a photographer, I would not be printing sold prints or display photos on this paper, but I would be ok using them for home display or gifts for family etc. It’s not terrible, it’s just also not great. Like others said, the quality feels a little cardstocky and rough as well.So I’m not completely sure if you can blame the paper for the print issues, but I guess my warning is that the smaller size paper may make your printer struggle towards the end of the print. I will continue to test it and maybe see better results. If I do I will come back and let you know.
